Stax Museum Voted one of Top Three Museums in Memphis

In The Memphis Flyer's recent annual Best of Memphis readers' poll, the Stax Museum of American Soul Music won Third Place in the "Best Museum in Memphis" category. The Memphis Flyer, with more than 150,000 readers each week, is Memphis AAN affiliate newspaper and has been in existence since 1989. First Place went to Memphis Pink Palace Museum and Planetarium, and Second Place went to Memphis Brooks Museum of Art.

Tim Sampson, Communications Manager and spokesperson for the Stax Museum, said, "We are absolutely honored to be in the same company with these two fine organizations in the poll voted on by Memphis Flyer readers. To be just a little over two years old and receive that kind of response is amazing to us. We intend to keep working even more diligently to serve Memphis as we do the entire world."
